Yuki was my first Coton so she holds a very special place in my heart. She was born a Tri-Color, but now, the only remnants of that are the classic Coton Look: buff ears with strands of black hair running through them. Her adult coat is pure white and thick, and yet a dream to groom and brush. She looks a lot like her daddy MonPastis. What amazes me is her ability to actually SMILE! Which she does quite often when she sees someone she loves. But what makes her truly extraordinary is the fact that she inherited the ability from her mother to jump straight up in the air as if she had invisible springs tied to the bottom of all four of her feet. And we are not talking inches off the floor, we are talking several feet!! Our little Jumping Bean.

She also has exceptional visual acuity. She loves to lay on the bed with me at night and watch TV. She always reacts to certain people and animals on the screen. And it is not because of the sound, (we tested that) because she will see things even with the TV on "mute"! She is one sharp Coton.

Yuki blessed us with her first litter, sired by Zack, in April 2009. The photos of those babies can be found on my photos page. She had two boys and two girls. And one of the girls inherited that "Jumping Bean-ability" too!! So the legacy continues.
